The Bahia thermoelectric power plant (UTE Bahia), a joint venture with Ecoluz Consultores Associados in which Promon owns 80 per cent, is located in the Camaçari petrochemical complex and is part of the Government’s emergency power generation program to create a reserve pool of assured power for supply to the interconnected grid in case of need.
